The NMHA would like to acknowledge those graduating players attending College and University continuing their academics. A bursary of $500 will be awarded to four (4) successful applicants registered in the NMHA for the 2024-25 season who apply and best combine:

- Hockey performance & quality contributor
- Academic Achievement
- Community Leadership
Eligibility

Must be a current member in good standing with the NMHA and played in the association a minimum of four years.

Must be applying to a recognized post secondary institution as a full-time student in September of 2025.

Letter from Head Coach ( or other NMHA volunteer if the head coach is a parent/ guardian)

Copy of most recent report card

Copy of completed volunteer hours( as per your high school)

Administration of Bursaries
All applications will be provided to the selection committee who will select the successful candidates based on the stated qualifications. The bursary will be made out to the applicant’s chosen institution. All selections will be final.
Application Information
The closing date for the application is 11:59pm, On Monday May 5, 2025. All applications received shall be in confidence. All the applications and supporting letters become the property of NMHA. Winners will be announced at the NMHA Annual General Meeting ( AGM).
