For the second time this season, the Nepean Raiders U16 B team have won a tournament championship! This time at the Northumberland Silver Stick Regional in Cobourg, Ontario.After an initial loss to the Ajax Raiders, the team pulled together to handily defeat the Northumberland Nighthawks and Stouffville Clippers, earning themselves a place in the semi-final. They defeated the Peterborough Petes (5-3) in the semis, and pressed on to defeat the Whitby Wildcats (4-1) in the final.The Nepean Raiders will now progress to the Silver Stick Finals this upcoming January in Newmarket, Ontario. Congratulations to this hard-working team!
