In front of a packed house at Walter Baker, the U10 “A” Nepean Raiders capped off their season with a thrilling 2-1 win over Ottawa Valley Silver Seven (White) to capture the Eastern Ontario Championship.
The winning goal came with 48 seconds left in the game and sent the crowd into a frenzy.
After finishing the season standings in 7th place, this special group of boys went 7-1 in the playoffs to capture the title. The boys showed up when it mattered the most. They fought hard, played smart and won the “Stanley Cup” at the end.
