The U15 Rep B Raiders took to the streets in Barrhaven on Sunday, November 20 to collect food for the Barrhaven Food Cupboard. Thanks to the generosity of our local neighbours, the boys were able to fill eight cars with much needed food for the organisation while also collecting $708 in donations. Every dollar raised converts into $5 in purchasing power for the Food Cupboard, so that total will help buy $3,540 worth of food!
The team will also be holding a collection night at their game on Friday, December 1 at Minto at 7:15pm with the aim of adding to their total.
Please consider stopping by Minto Rec Complex on Dec. 1 between 6pm – 8:30pm to drop off non-perishable goods and help our community this holiday season.
